Phil is so excited to be back with Inspire this year.  Phil has been a professional dancer and educator for over 20 years.  After graduating from Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Program Phil began his performing career at the Stratford Festival performing in West Side Story choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.  From there Phil went on to perform in the original Toronto Company of The Lion King, Mamma Mia both in Toronto and the US National tour and then the musical adaptation of The Lord of the Rings which he also was the assistant choreographer for in London England.  As a choreographer Phil has over 20 shows on his resume and has been directing more, most recently directing Stage West Calgary’s version of Mamma Mia.  5 years ago Phil and his wife Kalie Hunter took over Canada’s longest running drop in professional Dance Studio…Metro Movement where he teaches jazz and Musical Theatre drop in classes and is also the resident Registered Massage Therapist.
